Waited for the rain to come until 11am and hadn't seen it yet :dontknow: so I decided to head out. Got a 1919 Wheatie at the first site plus a very, very old copper ring. Very crude. Rang up at 12-47 and I thought it was a silver quarter but at 10 inches there it was. Oh well! Went to a different location and hit a 1936 Wheatie right off the bat. Then finally after about 10 clad digs I got a nice high pitched 12-45 signal. A 1919 silver Merc! happydance02 It is the most worn Merc I have ever had. You can barely see the date and the back is almost smooth. But it does qualify as silver #74 for 2012! :peace: Also got a total of 23 clad coins for $1.37. Happy hunting to all! :beerbuddy:
