Hello folks.
The Twin Territories Treasure Hunters Club of Oklahoma City had our fall hunt and chili cook-off today.

The weather was absolutely beautiful. In the early morning it was near 60, but by the time the hunt started it had warmed up to near 75.

Our club has approximately 250 members and we meet the second Monday of each month. But today was the annual fall hunt that occurred at the Yukon Round Up Club field in Yukon, OK.

I am a first year member so it was quite an experience for me. Needless to say these folks go all out. Or should I say all in. The ground was planted with 2000+ (yes, that's correct) silver dimes. Not clads! Also planted was 150 number marked tokens for prizes to be given away. Among the prizes was a White's Spectra V3 and a Tesoro Vaquero, about 50 Silver Eagle coins, proof coin sets, books, hats, travel mugs, caps, and etc. WOW!
Here are some of the prizes

I'm sorry but I didn't take any action photos while the hunt was on. I was busy!
A great time was had by all. Lots of good food and friendship. The folks shared ideas, tips, and hunting spots, and in general bonded for what I feel is one of the best hobbies around.
My take for the day was pretty good.
I hit 55 dimes and 6 tokens. The 6 tokens brought me 3 Silver Eagles, 2 proof sets, and 2 books.
