a new detectorist i met a few months ago found this stunning little bottle fully intaked with a silver screw on cap.
i told him how nice this bottle was and to post it on here but he didnt realy think much of it and last week gave it to me ??.
the top is perforated like a salt shaker so i dont think its a perfume bottle , any idears folks of what it is and age ?

I think it may be an individual salt shaker. Salt, at one time, was served in individual containers at each place setting on the table. There were shakers as well as small bowls with spoons.
Since you say yours has holes in the top I don't think it would hold a liquid.
