So Sunday, Al and I headed off as usual. There was a park that Al wanted to go to. I had been by it NUMEROUS times, but never attempted to go, as it's really rough there. It actually is only a few hundred yards from where I dug a 1 Reale last year. We pulled up to the park...and there was someone sleeping on the bench...and it's a small park. We decided to stick to the perimeter.
After about an hour....nothing but clad >:#. I was making my way over to Al to see if he had found anything, and if not we would leave. I got a quater signal at about 4-5 down (I had dug memorials at 8) so I was thinking, a clad quarter, but I might get lucky and get a silver. And what to my eyes shall appear...but a large green disc <: :happydance01: happydance02. I walk over to Al and show him...we were both excited for what else may be there. Another hour or so later...finally a glimer of silver hope...a 1906 Barber dime. A few wheats, an old button and a religious cross later, we decide to call it quits.
