This has a female head with 15 stars on the front and the word VENZ on the tail... Any Ideas
Sorry still tring to get the hang of taking pictures of coins.

I have read people talking about this exact item. All believed it to be a token of some sort. Nice save!!
first let me say hello sepalmer and welcome to the forum ;) , as far as the coin or token ...
in your best guess can you tell me what your opinion of the objects metal composition (aluminum , brass,nickle ect.)

Hi Sepalmer, Welcome to the forum and congrats on the find! Where did you find it? State/Country? If it is a token there is a good chance that it is listed in Richards token database. http://tokencatalog.com/ I hope that helps, good luck.

It is just slightly bigger than a quarter and it is non magnetic. the color appears gold. I would guess brass.

I found it in North West Ohio at the site of an old school. School was built late 1800's and torn down in 1966. The area is now a park.
if its a park now it could have been dropped at any time since and even pretty modern . after looking around and not seeing much at all , all i can give is my opinion and say its either somekind of token , older type of play money . it is very interesting how it vaguely mimics the older liberty head with stars coins of the mid 1800's , something that done a lot in the early 1900's to about 1930's . so i'm guessing the age to about that time period too. sorry i couldn't be more help , please repost it if you find out more about it .
