*****IT'S ALL ABOUT BEING GOOD*****
I was a member of 2 other forums one of which M-T and several others came from but it wasn't much fun watching ones run around and like the members is grade school kids.
I happen to do a google search and seen this one with a few names I recalled so I checked it out and here I am and I must say this is much better.

I was on youtube watching a video and in the video, the guy mentions he wishes he could ...find as much silver as Angel over on American Detectorist. Well, I knew that could only refer to the guy who I knew from the FMDF and no one else! A google later, here I am!

I was chasing all of cybersage's vidoes ( very good by the way) and ran across it. Recognize some of the names from other forums. Hi everyone.
Pulltab Steve told me about this forum. Don't hold him responsible
DirtFisher told me about it after Rick M called him and asked him to tell me about this awful great place he had found so it's all Rick M's (Toadman) fault if you have to blame someone.... lol
I was watching one of M-Taliesin's videos on youtube and he (Mel) recommended this forum. Thanks Mel!
"I DIG IT"
i was told about this fine site by mel taliesin after wondering where all my mentors went.
I got the name and address from a video by M-Taliesin on Youtube
I heard about it from a detecting friend who heard it from a friend whose friend told him about it
If at first you don't succeed, get the Government to Bail you out !
I did a Google search for Minelab E-trac forums. American Detectorist was listed.
I have been active in metal detecting since 1972 when my father and I first seen a fellow in a park looking for coins. That's all it took, we went out and each picked up a White's coin master(TR) unit. I sat at the computer one day and typed in metal detecting and I seen your site. I enjoy reading what other people have to say about detecting and the hobby in general. Great site and keep up the good work.
I heard of this site from goat rancher after getting a little beat up on another forum, for just posting a picture of something and nothing bad it was a detector cover.
