Got out with my friend Frank today to hit up some sites up north. Ran into a Black bear (no pictures) as we were shouting & banging our shovels to scare it away. Happened upon a porcupine and backed off.

Got a pair of Pres. John Adams cufflinks as well as 2 buttons. The Buckle is silver but my guess it's silver plated. Need to do some research on the cufflinks, been a long day!

FANTASTIC, ROGER!! Calabash Digger found just one of those cuffs and was over the moon!! That's a GREAT find!! :happy::yahoo::perfect10:
 
Thanks Drew! As soon as I saw the image I immediately thought of him. I have to say I'm thinking I need to invest in bear spray as I knew it was only a matter of time until I ran into one.
 
Terrific finds! Those John Adams cufflinks are the bomb! Wow, and intact pair! I promptly added them to the banner.

I reached out to the John Adams homestead site (NPS) to see what they have to say. They must have more detailed information on them.
